January Week 3

Monday

Blame Zach for the pain (I mean fun?!) today!

Class: What’s a better way to start the week than abs?!

Challenge: Create a mantra for your week. Something you can repeat when you are faced with challenging situations, and something you can constantly anchor back to.

Tuesday

I subbed HIIT for Ash a couple weeks ago, and I think this is a great sequence that hits a little bit of everything. Grab a couple sets of weights and get ready for movement and sweat!

Class: HIIT

Challenge: Swap one ingredient in one meal today for a healthier option. Get creative or just add something new to your salad/sandwich!

Wednesday

HIIT once more today, and we’ll slow it down and work with breathwork and mediation tomorrow. Keep pushing through friends!

Class: HIIT

Challenge: Back to that gratitude journal. Write three things in the morning and three in the evening you are grateful for in your life currently. How does it feel doing it in the morning? In the evening?

Thursday

Grab a candle and something comfy to sit on for this restorative experience.

Class: Meditation and Breath

Challenge: Get active for 20 minutes, this could be as simple as taking a walk. Getting fresh air is a bonus :)

Friday

Sometimes we forget about the importance of working our spinal muscles. This quick bodyweight workout will help strengthen the muscles we use to stand up straight, backbend and move through our daily lives. I cannot stress the importance of working the backline enough!

Classes: Backline strengthening and restore for the side bodies. Take both, they add up to 28 minutes total :)

Challenge: Back to H20! Drink at least 8 glasses today.

Saturday

Today is all about muscle activation (this one is for you Lynne!) no weights, no props just your body!

Class: Two options! One is the muscle activation based power fusion class I taught live yesterday (45 minutes) the other is a very unique type of core work, compression. I would LOVE to know how either of these feel in your body, drop a comment in the facebook group!

Challenge: Read something today! Maybe its an interesting article, or a new book. Keeping our brain healthy is just as important as anything else we do!

Sunday

Join Alex and Ashlee for a short, high-intensity blast. We take on half of the Title 2000 challenge.

Class: Cardio Challenge and Restore. Take one or both!

Challenge: Take a minimum of 10 minutes of time in the most quiet place you can find today. Don’t put pressure on yourself to do anything, instead just be still and let whatever happens, happen.
